This is gonna be a triple-post. I ran out of time last week and the week before! :P
So we had transfers, and Sister Rammell and Sister Pankratz transferred :( I bought an elk blanket last week and it is the only thing that keeps me from freezing in our apartment. :) Elkie is awesome! <3
Still doing tons of knocking, nothing out of the ordinary. We had to drop some people that weren't keeping commitments. :( They'll come around, though. I've learned to love people in a new way as a missionary. It is a blessing and a curse. :P
Oh! The Sunday before yesterday, President Richardson and Sister Richardson came to Naples! <3 They spoke in sacrament, and Sis Richardson wanted me to translate for her talk which included a tree analogy. And I was like, "uuuhhhhh that isn't in Preach My Gospel! I don't know how to say that!" so I got a member to translate for me! :) whew! And President gave his talk in Spanish. It went really well! I talked to him, and it turns out that the first Spanish sacrament meeting talk that he ever gave in the mission was back in the Miami Lakes ward when I was there (at my request, lol!). And now this last one was his third! Cool stuff :) I'm glad that I've been present for two out of three. We also got to go to a Youth Fireside that Sunday night. President Richardson was giving the fireside and he had the ZLs and us show how we teach and answer a bunch of missionary questions that they youth had. It was great! :) I really do hope that they all serve missions. ANYBODY that serves a mission faithfully, obediently, worthily and diligently will never regret it, I promise!
Our current STLs are Sis Burdett and Sis Alcazar (<< I KNEW that she was going STL! President hinted that! ;) ) And I got to go on a full-day exchange with Sister Alcazar in Rio Vista! We have always said "we're going to be companions one day", and we finally did! For a day, but still! :) It was neat! Their area reminded me of Sebastian; at least the neighborhood that we were in that day.
